I was shaped by the experience of growing up in Manhattan, and was first inspired to become an architect by my frequent visits to the Guggenheim Museum as a kid, although I was just as inspired by the art deco buildings of New York’s skyline, the brownstones and tenements, or the experience of a childhood spent largely in Central Park.
My education in environmental design led me to my LEED credentials, and my passion for social equity led me to being part of so many affordable housing developments over the years. My passion for beaux arts, art deco, traditional Japanese construction, and mid-century modernism has blended over time with each project I’ve had the privilege of designing, managing, and ultimately helping realize through the complex processes of documentation, permitting and construction.
Other passions include seeing live music, mountain biking, skiing, industrial arts, animals, and history.
