PASEO de las FLORES

SIMI VALLEY, CALIFORNIA - COMPLETED 2008

Jordan Rose, Project Architect & PM for Pyatok Architects, AOR

This senior condominium community went through extensive planning reviews in order to ensure conformance with Simi Valley’s form based code, which was inspired by Santa Barbara’s own code that ensures a close adherence to the traditional regional style - Mission or Mediterranean style architecture. I designed a community that was inspired by the courtyard communities of the greater Los Angeles area during the 1920s, with flourishes including custom tile work and wooden trellises, and a paseo that connected all the clusters of townhouses.
